The Senior Accessibility Lead plays a key role in advancing accessible digital product delivery across the organization. This role partners with Product Managers, Product Owners, Designers, Testers, and Engineering teams to embed accessibility throughout the product lifecycle, strengthen audit readiness, guide remediation efforts, and improve how teams build accessible web and mobile experiences at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a lead point of contact for accessibility across cross-functional product, design, and engineering teams
Drive coordination of accessibility reviews across digital solutions, ensuring work is identified, prioritized, and routed effectively
Partner with Product Managers and Product Owners to ensure front-end features are submitted for accessibility review and aligned to accessibility requirements
Evaluate digital experiences for accessibility conformance against standards including WCAG 2.1, WCAG 2.2, and related accessibility guidance
Translate accessibility findings into clear, actionable feedback for product and engineering teams to support effective remediation
Facilitate review sessions with stakeholders to align on findings, risks, remediation priorities, and next steps
Monitor accessibility defect trends and identify recurring issues, training needs, and opportunities to improve engineering quality
Revalidate remediated defects and confirm accessibility issues are fully resolved across relevant features
Partner with design teams to integrate accessibility into product design decisions and clarify how design intent informs accessibility acceptance criteria
Work with engineering teams during development and testing to ensure accessibility acceptance criteria are met across web, iOS, and Android platforms
Help teams understand how users interact with digital products through assistive technologies and how that should shape product decisions
Prepare and communicate monthly reporting on review status, conformance trends, validation results, open concerns, and delivery risks
Support third-party accessibility audit planning and execution, including readiness activities, audit scope alignment, test data coordination, and issue follow-up
Attend relevant delivery forums, stand-ups, and status meetings to surface accessibility risks and maintain alignment across teams
Influence stronger, more consistent accessibility practices by coaching teams on standards, quality expectations, and remediation approaches
Qualifications
Strong ability to evaluate digital experiences from an end-user perspective and advocate for accessible outcomes for Web ans Native Experiences.
Solid experience testing with assistive technologies including JAWS, NVDA, macOS/iOS Voice-over, Talkback, keyboard-only navigation, and related tools
Strong understanding of accessibility standards, principles, and implementation techniques, including WCAG 2.0,2.1 and 2.2 ( A/AA), and WAI-ARIA
Experience partnering with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and consistency in accessibility practices
Strong communication, facilitation, and organizational skills
Ability to influence decisions and provide leadership in cross-functional environments
Familiarity with responsive web design, mobile applications, and modern digital product delivery practices
Fluency in the software development lifecycle and accessibility integration points across planning, design, development, testing, and release
Strong understanding of working in a fast-paced environment, including how work progresses through planning, design, engineering, and third-party validation
Experience with JIRA, Rally, Teams, Confluence, and similar collaboration tools
